Hello All,

Welcome to The Crockett County Amateur Radio Society. We are a newly formed group of Amateur Radio Enthusiasts here in Crockett County, TN. We operate on the K4DYR Repeater 145.190 100.0 tone. We hold weekly check-in nets on every Thursday of the month with the exception of the second Thursday of the month, This is our Regularly Scheduled Meeting night. Please feel free to listen in and please check-in with us, we will be happy for you to do so.

On March 28th, 2009, The State of Tennessee Granted the club our Non-Profit Charter, and as of May 15th, 2009 it is now registered in the County Register's Office. Our next step for our non-profit is to apply and receive our 501 c 3 status, then we will be able to have fund-raisers to help fund our club.

On November 4th, 2008, The ARRL Organization approved our Club Affiliation. Congratulations Everyone, C.C.A.R.S. is now an ARRL Affiliated Club! Thanks to everyone who has joined our club, for their ARRL Membership. We got it, now we just need your help in keeping it. Please everyone join the ARRL, it is the only national organization representing Amateur Radio in the United States. As an ARRL member you support the ranks of thousands of other ham radio enthusiasts shaping the Amateur Radio service today.
